Cascabella is an open pollinated Hungarian Wax type hot pepper that reaches maturity approximately 72-75 days after transplanting. The Cascabella has a conical shape tapering to a point and colours from yellow to orange. The Cascabella grows to a length of 4 cm and a diameter of 2.5 cm, has medium thick walls and can be used for pickling or fresh into salads. Unusual shape, unusual colour but you have to admit it has the most beautiful name for a chilli.
